My name is Sage. Sugar Wagon is my creation and it started to come to life in 2020. From a young age, I’ve had an entrepreneurial spirit and a dream to open my own business. My premium dessert truck was inspired by my love of everything sweet…after all, dessert is my favorite meal! I pitched the business idea to my parents when I was 16 and was stunned when they supported my ideas. My parents agreed to partner with me but only if I saved a boat load of money to invest in my dream. So, I became the master of “hoarding” ALL my money.

It took a full-time job and a year of saving. But here we are….my dream has come to life! There’s a lot of blood, sweat and tears poured into the build out of my Sugar Wagon. It’s just as cute on the inside as it is on the outside. This has been the best family project.

I’ve learned a ton so far as a young business owner. There’s been hours of research, brainstorming, menu testing and perfecting every item to ensure we can deliver, when we say “Now serving…Happiness in a cup”. I can tell you it takes good work ethic, dedication, motivation and a true passion to run a food truck. It’s more work than people realize but I’m loving every minute of it.

My Mom and I take great pride in our Sugar Wagon. We always say “If it isn’t good….it doesn’t go out the window!”. To see our customers smile and enjoy what they’ve ordered is our #1 priority.
